Has anyone used them? I think they are called Furi?

What she uses primarily are santoku knives. They are a japanese style, similar to a chefs knive and have a "hollow edge" that keeps food from sticking to the surface of the knife. The brand she uses as stated before is Furi. Great knives. However you can get a much less expensive brand that will work well for the casual cook.

I have similar knives, they're great, and I didn't have to shell out all the money just for her name.
