Riesling is a grape variety very typical to Germany and it makes good white wines, some of them with a spritzig like sensation (tongue tingling). Riesling is also found in Alsace (France)

Riesling is a noble grape variety of vitis vinifera originating from Germany. It is a white grape, known for producing white wines with crisp, fruity, minerally flavour profiles and possessing plenty of natural acidity. This allows the wine to potentially age for a number of years (decades in some cases) and to pair well with a great variety of foods.

Reisling is made from sweet white grapes. There's also late-harvest reisling that's a bit sweeter - and really good - the grapes are left on the vine until much later in the season.
