If Christians believe that when Jesus came the old deal (what they call the old testament) was replaced with the new deal (new testament) then how do they know for sure that G-d hasn't come up with a new new deal (maybe Islam or something else that they just missed)?

There is no mention of a second coming in the Torah nor did Jesus fulfill any of the major prophecies. So how is the new in the old?

Jesus said that he did not come to abolish the Old Testament Law, but to fulfill it. The Apostle Paul explains that the Old Testament Law was necessary to point out to us our sinfulness in contrast to the holiness of God. The Law was never designed to save us. The Old Testament sacrifices also pointed the way to the New Testament sacrifice of Jesus Christ, a final sacrifice for the sins of all. God tells us that he never changes and is the same "yesterday, today, and forever."

The New Testament doesn't replace the Old Testament. It gives a "new covenant," yet doesn't drop off the first covenant. If you read the Old Testament carefully, you'll see it pointing to the redemption offered in the New Testament. Both the Old and New Testament are part of the same story.

Eh. Philosophically, it's more compelling to believe that the biblical God doesn't exist as portrayed anyways.

The God depicted in the testaments is proported to be all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-good. Yet any examination at all reveals that this is simply not the case.

Because the "new deal" was in the "old deal" the whole time, that is what the prophets were waiting for.
