I've heard many point of views on creatine such as after you stop taking it, rapid loss takes place. Other's have included that it can only be used to small moderation - at max 3 months. Just wanted to get a good idea on what this stuff actually does.

Take it as instructed, and you should have no problems. You will retain more water, so drink lots of water. But it does more than that. It gets converted in your body to adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is stored in your muscles for short bursts of energy (such as weight lifting). This allows you to lift a little heavy and lift an extra rep or two, which will overload the muscle more, causing to grow faster.

There are some possible side effects, but nothing serious. You may experience some muscle cramps, or have some digestive discomfort. Some people have had loose bowel movements from it. If you do a search for it on the Internet, you'll find all kinds of articles. I use it off and on, and get some mild side effects, but they usually go away after a week or so.

Creatine has 0 effect on my body and I have yet to see it work on other people. It MAY help for strength because my friend took Cell-Tech and went from 210-255lb max in just one month. However for bulk it didn't do anything.

creatine is natural in foods, the creatine products just help your produce more at faster rates, it's a cell volumizer and helps repair muscle damage. It's not a 'end-all-get-huge' supplement, it's more or less a necessary ingredient to help put on muscle faster. It does improve strength and size because it helps you recover faster.

Creatine is just a temporary fix. You lose every benefit when you stop taking it. Many people have other issues with Creatine too. For me, it makes my heart hurt bad (hard to explain, and it took a while to figure it out), so I avoid it like the plague.

It doesnt really help, as the other folks have stated.

HOWEVER,

There is some research that suggets by having the increased water in your muscles reduces the risk of certain types of injuries. Thats the only benefit that I can think of. Its expensive and not really worth it.

Regards,
Ryan
