moderate relogion is an organized religion that double minded people conjured up. The lord said he will spew you out of His mouth if you are lukewarm. We are suppose to be on fire with the Holy Spirit for God which means radical. Otherwise we compromise His standards for us He clearly tells us not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renrewing of your mind why are christians so worried about offending people we are therefore being rebellious to god which He said obedience is better than your sacrifice and rebellion is the work of witchcraft. Satan isn't worried about offending the people of God with His lies why are the people of God afraid of the enemy. We already have the victory and do't need to compromise any longer and walk in victory. Satan has power and no authrity unless God gives it to him. we are in Chris Jesus so therefore we have more powerand authority to fulfill the things of God. The devil has to answer to us. When we stop allowing him rule ourlives we wont have this probem we speak the Word which is the truth God put in us. The enemy is subject to this most christians dont realize this and result to a lower compromised stansrd of living

I think there are moderate people in every religion, and fanatics as well. But moderate religion... I don't think so. Every religion claims being the one and only way and truth, and that doesn't seem too moderate. Even Hinduism, with their numerous gods, isn't that tolerating if one of their own decides to change religion.

Never heard of a moderate Christian, Muslim or Jew etc... In the words of Yvonne Ridley:
"Religion is like being pregnant...you either are or you're not. Ever heard of anyone being moderately pregnant?"

It is the beleiver who creates the moderation/fundamental mindset, as an internal society of beleivers in religion in places such as church exactly the same peer pressure to be the perfect whatever is created and as such spirals into spiritual snobbery and fundamentalism (I beleive stronger than you because I kissed suchabodies ***)
Religion isn't the breeder of lack of moderation humanity is.

It's not poking - it is truth...these are after all, the end times my friend. A "moderate religion" in my opinion constitutes those that do not make the word of God first and foremost in teaching and practices, of which there are many.

If you study the origins and the beliefs of the Catholic Faith, it is VERY moderate.
Radical Catholics spend all day in Prayer.
The Church will not change with public opinion, God's laws are still God's laws.
Peace and Good Luck swatting the hornets.
