I don't know, but I don't like it. Some companies (such as like the president of this United States) thinks if they "play on" the Christian faith they can make more money (get more support in the case of the pres)

Sad and sickening, IMO.

You forgot my favorite one! What Would Jesus Do? (Usually seen as WWJD). And yes, I do believe that many sects of Christianity have, largely, become sound bite based. That's convenient, because if you have a snappy little saying, you don't have to think about it much once you've adopted it. I've noticed these things coming from a couple of places in particular, like the Evangelical Churches, and the "Born Again" sects, including the "non-denominational" Christian churches which are so popular these days. (My husband has a saying--never trust a preacher with a drum kit behind him, and I do believe that's very good advice.) Many of the older sects of Christianity, the ones which still view man's relationship to God as primarily a mystical type of communion, don't seem to use those bumper sticker sentiments. They seem, to me at least, to be a bit more concerned with their own, personal, inward journey than with running around yelling, "Praise the Lord!" I think that's nice, because I feel that belief of that kind is essentially a very private matter.

Human mind can become commercial. But Christianity is for free.

its sad but told it would come

2 Peter 3:2-4
2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Profiteers will use ANYTHING, even Religion to make money.

Does not make it right, or Religion wrong.

That is why I follow the one true Roman Catholic Church.

Peace and God bless!

I think membership is dropping. Although I consider myself devout, I stopped going to church when the pastor started ranting about how homosexuals were going to burn in hell. It's not our place to pass judgement.

Don't you think God would have killed all of the people who invented these things, like how he did in the Old Testament, if he were real?

It has always been commercial.

Way back people had to pay the church for not getting in hell, how stupid is that.
