A girl in one of my classes in school keeps looking over at me, making eye contact and smiling a lot. I think she may be trying to get my attention. I do sort of like her too.
I want to ask her out, but I've never really spoken to her before. Should I make friendly conversation for a few days and then ask, or just do it the first time I speak to her?

I should add that we only go to one class together, but I see her often in the halls.

Yep, she likes you. Say hi and have a couple of casual conversations. Then after you are "Sure" she's definately interestied in you, go ahead and ask her on a date. Become good friends and keep it light and see what happens.

Check this. go up to her one day, and strike up a conversation. try "Hey. how are you?" work your way up from there. within a span of five minutes into the conversation, try this...
"Hey, i was wondering, would you like to go out some time?"
do this when there's not alot (or any) people around, so her friends can't indirectly influence her. if/when she asks you where and when, come up with the where first. then, work the when into your schedule. ask her when she's free. then, discontinue the conversation. the conversation after asking someone out can dry up pretty quickly. go to your next class or whatever.

Just go up to her and start a friendly conservation, get to know her then eventually ask her out because she probably wants to ask you out or even get to know you so go ahead and break the ice.

u gotta be confident. be natural.
after class or smthng or afters school, or smthng, be like hey im hungry gonna get smthng 2 eat, u wanna join me?? be NATURAL!! and dont show interest in her immediatly, or u will scare her off.... anyways
