You can be sick without a fever. The average human body temperature is 98.6 degrees, so if you are 99 degrees or higher, you have a fever, which may mean that your body is fighting something. Drink a lot of water, rest, and see your doctor if you have other symptoms.
Best wishes to you.

Normal body temperature can be from 96 to 100 degrees, with 98.6 being considered "normal". 100 to 101 is considered a low grade fever. This is nothing really serious. 102 and over is considered a fever. Over 104 is considered a high fever.

98.6 is the normal temperature for a person. Women's temps will fluctuate during ovulation, but if you have a temp above 99.5, your body is fighting off some type of virus or bacteria.
