You are allowed one free credit report per bureau each calendar year. FreeCreditReport.com will give you your report, but you need to pay for the score...and if you forget to cancel in time, you will pay their monthly fee. Go to Experian.com. Transunion.com and Equifax.com. Each bureau utilizes their own version of the FICO score and all three bureaus will end up directing you to www.annualcreditreport.com. Any company that you order your score from will charge you more than the three bureaus will charge you and give you the same product.

Going through the bureaus themselves will 100% ensure you're getting the score directly from the bureau, you will not have signed up for any third party "monitoring service", and you will have paid the lowest possible amount for your credit scores since you are paying the bureaus directly and not a third party company.

Go to www.freecreditreport.com. You'll have to answer a few questions like your SSN and DOB but it will bring it right up. You can even print it out. However, be sure to cancel your subscription before the 2 week trial period is over or you get charged 12.95 a month.
