Thanks for those who answered my question about moving out and the guy I am in love with. I am planning my escape, and yes I have paid my dues to where I am living. The guy I mentioned knows I care about him. I don't understand him, he hints that he is interested, implys it to other people, but when it comes down to really talk, nothing. My friend asked him to tell me he is not interested but instead, he wrote me a polite email basically saying nothing. I don't know what to do. I know I should just ignore him

You posted in the genealogy category by mistake. Genealogy is the study of family trees. You got one answer in 30 minutes. Over in the Family & Relationships -> Singles and Dating category, you would have gotten a dozen.

I'm not the category monitor. I just hate to see people starving because they are shopping for apples in a book store. You could close this question and post it again in a better category.

Most of us genealogists played the dating game, years ago. That's how we came to have family trees. I only had two women ask me out in the 10 years I dated. I accepted both offers. I asked dozens out in those same years; about 2/3rds agreed. From that narrow expereince, I'd say he isn't interested and you should look elsewhere.

His wake-up call may come when you begin to ignore him.
