Yep. And it seems to me that Wiccans are a particularly spiritual group.

I do believe that it is a legit faith. They worship the natural cycles and believe that the Universe has a deep abiding wisdom which is expressed through life and growth. There are hundreds of thousands of followers worldwide and the basic ideas go back to long before Christianity. In fact, many of the ideas, holiday and rituals of the christian faith have Pagan roots which are closely related to modern Wicca. Check out Wicca.com for more info.

No faith is "legit".
Faith in a "spiritual" sense generally means (as in the case of Christianity, Islam, Judahism, and Wicca) that there is virtually no hard evidence to support the wild claims that a religion makes. There is no proof of it's validity.
Now, if a bunch of other people simply believing something is true is enough evidence for you that it is legit, then it is as true as every other ridiculous belief from Santa Clause to alien abductions.
Perhaps crack cocaine is something you should consider trying. *Like religion, many people believe they get a great feeling from it's use.
*Once they're hooked on religion, they feel alone and confused when they don't have it in a while.
*Like crack, most people on religion are extremely annoying when they start begging for money on the streets.
*Crack is usually available in the same neighborhoods where religious people are trying to get you hooked on the god of their choice.
*Too much of it will certainly kill you. Hey, Just like religion!
*Crack pipes are MUCH lighter and easier to carry than religious texts.
*Granted, in this enlightened age, you will not go to jail for being a witch. However, in the entire history of mankind, no one has ever been burned at the stake for smoking a fat rock.
Sorry, bit of a rant there.... Well, you get the point.

IF a person trully believes in their faith than it is legitimate to them. If it does no harm to anybody else I don't see why it should bother them. When Mormonism first came around it was a 'new' religion so most people cast the idea aside. Now it is huge. Also the same with the Scientologists.
Who is to say if any faith is true and real and legit.
We will only know when we die.
Until then we believe what we believe.

Yes, I believe that it is. I haven't looked into it much, but from what I hear it is a very legit and wonderful faith. I can't decide if I agree with casting of spells, but if that's just not my thing, then at least I can't condemn them for doing so. Why should I condemn that which I do not understand?

Sure. They have their beliefs about the origin of the universe. They have omnipotent beings to pray to. They have rituals designed to become closer to those beings and their suroundings, Etc, just like any other religion that is accepted as "legit"
Granted, there are alot of children in capes prancing around with dolls, but if that is what brings them joy, so be it. I'm not about to tell another person to change their conception of a Higher Power because I don't happen to understand it. Because maybe I'm the one that's being silly.

Any faith collectively referred to in a word can be a legitimate faith. The concern should come through whether or not one is practicing a faith in a legitimate way.
For instance, I might have a faith that dictates physical trials as stepping stones toward salvation. Hence, if I go through ritualized physical trials myself, it migh be a legitimate practice of that faith. However, if I cause other people physical harm or insist they need a few trials by fire to right themselves, well that would not be a legitimate practice of the same faith, whatever you call it.

Legit? Of course. There is no perfect faith. As long as you believe and believe sincerely, the faith is there, it's real. We all believe different things, and all are based in some reality for us.

Yes, in my opinion Wicca/Paganism is one of the most legit faiths. It teaches true peace, spirituality, and shows a great appreciation for nature and all of its inner workings. It's just a shame that such a beautiful religion is SO misunderstood.

In America, we are all free to worship (or not) as we please. If you research enough, you'll find where the Christians were so afraid to loose out to the Pagans that they started to celebrate holy days on or near days that were/are important to the Pagan faith. I think that the Wicca faith is interesting and recalls a much simpler time.

Considering they are not running around starting wars or burning people because they think differently I'd say YEA!
Although if the Christians admire senseless brutality and torture then I can see why they wouldn't like Wicca. After all Wicca can't feed their bloodlust! Perhaps that is why they love a God that is so blood thrusty!
