Good question and yet it points to the inherant problem with belief...something that cannot be proven than mankind is willing to die and kill for. I wish we would change the word into "idea". It's harder to condem others over an idea! I would only die for those I love and the idea of true freedom.

Nothing - I'm not willing to die for any belief. That seems stupid to me - I've got too much to live for here, and to many people in my life to do something dumb like that. I'd denounce my belief in anyone or anything if it would keep me alive.
Now I would be willing to die if it meant keeping someone else important to me alive, but that isn't dying for a belief, that's dying for a person.

I was taught that to make the sign of the cross, and to wear a cross identifies one as willing to die on the cross rather than deny Jesus. I had to think long (years) and hard on this and I believe I can say I am willing to die before I would deny Jesus.

The only belief that I would be willing to die for is the belief that my wife and children should live in peace.

hmm closest one im willing to die for, is that no one has any right to direct the life of others. meaning freedom of choice. you do not have the right to tell me what i can and cannot wear, what i can and cannot eat, or what can or cannot be my lifestyle.
