No, you will not get big calves.

As to whether ot not you see "great" results in a months will depend on what you consider great. Are you going to be where you want to be in a month? Doubtful. But you will see results if you keep at it and are eating properly. Exercise alone will not do it for you. You need to cut back on the calories you are eating and eat healthy.

Be patient. It takes a lot of hard work and time to get where you want. The worst you are now, the longer it will take. But once you get there, it will be worth it.

Walking/running will not increase your calf size by much and I hope you'll stick to an exercise plan - especially if you consult with your doctor to make sure you can handle the workout.

There will naturally be some toning and increased muscle mass, but typically, women do not get as bulky as men...however, you'll notice a difference within three months when it usually takes about six months for a guy.

Belly workouts are best done in the sit-up routines.

And please don't use any performance-enhancing drugs or food additives...stick with a healthy diet of fresh vegetables, fruit and easy on the lean meat (fish and chicken are best).
Drink lots of water before, during and after workouts.

Keep a heart rate and weight record after each workout...it might come in handy for your doctor if there is ever a problem.

I agree with them but also would like to add that walking uphill or inclined on a treadmill may make them a little bit bigger but normally it won't. Walking won't help the belly much it will just help overall. Concentrate on the problem areas strengthening the muscles where the fat is in addition to the walking. By using these muscles more they will need more energy and the fat around them provides this energy. It is a slow process but give it time and you will look great.

Actually, no...but you will be really far away! LOL!

If you want to flatten your tummy, walking isn't going to concentrate on that particular area. You need to diet and do exercises like leg lifts or sit ups to flatten the tummy. Good luck.

No, in fact.....that isn't enough exercise to do you any good. You have to sustain your increased heart rate for 60 minutes to burn fat. Running for ten minutes is a waste of time. Try walking quickly for an hour. No, you won't get big calves.
