it doesn't! it just talked about more leading men than women!
here are a few examples of women who took charge of the situation:
Mary
Martha
and Ruth!
God doesn't say women can't lead, he just tells us how to do it!

It does not explicitly say so in the Bible. However, it is a fact there are no examples of women holding the priesthood of God. I have no idea why this is, as women are typically more spiritual then men. Or, maybe that is why, to encourage and force men to be more spiritual. Anyway, how I see it, is that being in leadership roles is not necessarily a blessing. As a leader, you are not above those you lead, but are their servant.

1 Timothy 2:11-12 proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.” In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created (1 Timothy 2:13) and the way in which sin entered the world (2 Timothy 2:14). God, through the Apostle Paul’s writing, restricts women from serving in roles of spiritual teaching authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors, which definitely includes preaching to, teaching, and having spiritual authority over men.

paul gives some commands about women not having authority over a man and about women remaining silent in the church.
You must take these in context though. Apparently some boisterous women were disrupting services in the church. Paul was trying to get them to shut-up.
As for the women leading over a man thing. It goes back to how God designed marriage and everthing. It is not sexist per se. The woman's role is extremely important. They are not inferior to men they just have a different role. Not everyone can be the leader or there would be no one to lead.
There are great women leaders in the bible. Deborah, ruth, priscilla, etc....
Women defintely have a place to lead other women, just not in authority over a man.

1 Timothy Chapter 2
part about women starts at verse 9.
1ti 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1ti 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
1ti 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
1ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

1 Tim. 2:12-14 (NKJV)
And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. [13] For Adam was formed first, then Eve. [14] And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
_____________
The Bible doesn't say that a woman can't be in leadership. The Bible does say that a woman is not permitted to teach (or have authrority over a man) inside the local church.
Paul goes on to say what God's order was in the beginning, using Adam and Eve as an example.
God has always place the male over the leadership of the woman. It was not a negative thing until she (Eve) stepped out from under his leadership in the Garden.
God told the woman in Genesis that
Genesis 3:16 (NKJV)
To the woman He said:
"I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you."
Because of sin, Eve would now experience greater pain in childbirth, and she would also desire the leadership position of her husband, but he would still rule over her.
So, women are not to teach or have authority over men. That means in their own family and inside the church. That is how God wants things to be.
At work, I still believe God wants us to be in submission to men and not to rule over them. But, the Bible doesn't really say a woman is to be working outside the home either. They are to be busy at home raising their children.
As a woman, I try to be obedient to what the scripture teaches, but I am a sinner. I step out from my husband's leadership and take over. When I realize what I have done, I repent and relinquish the reigns. I have to do this frequently, unfortunately.

1 Timothy 2:11-12
11A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
1 Corinthians 14:333a-35
As in all the congregations of the saints, 34women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
Sounds pretty plain to me

The Bible does not say that. There are women deacons, and evangelist in the Bible. The apostle Paul does say that he does not allow a woman to teach (pastor) because it was woman who was deceived by Satan and then gave to man.
Now that's what it says-interpret it how you will.

I don't know, but it would make sense that it would be in the bible, since MAN wrote it,
why not cut women down and say they are not worthy.
