He is a black and wite striped cat,and my Angel. He was always a skinny cat,but now he's deadly thin.I can see the curve of his spine and he seems very weak. When I play with him,he shakes.I gave him some skim milk, because he won't eat,and water isn't giving him a lot of energy.I think he may have eaten an insect or some other thing. He is 7 human years old.He is not meowing alot, but he normally is a noisy-ish cat.He sleeps alot now too.
Please help me and give me some advice.I'm not a vet. Also,no foolish answers either. This is serious.

Oh, sorry, but it sounds like that cat is really sick. Maybe feline leukemia or some other cat disease. He may have eaten a mouse or rat that was poisoned. Did you get the cat vaccinated?

Ok no foolish answer. He should of been at the vet months ago.If you are honestly putting the food down and he is not eating it then that was your sign that there was something seriously wrong.Take him to the vet.I know you probaly dont want to hear that because you would of took him along time ago if you was concern. If you can not afford a vet then give him away to a no kill shelter.I did with my dog several years ago because I could not afford medical care for him. It`s the best thing I ever done for a animal.Starvation is a horrible death.

My old cat got really skinny when he started to get really hungry but he would not get fat again because before he was like 22.5 pounds but then he went to 9 pounds so we took him to the vet and they said that he had an overactive thyroid and he was put on meds and lived a happy healhty life until he turned 15 in human years and was put to sleep because he had cancer.
So I would suggest taking him to the vet and see what he says.

That's not nice of you to post this question and wait. Too bad your cat isn't in charge of you...You should follow ShortnSweet & Brandon T's advice. Don't look for any more advice. This isn't a home therapy question. Your cat is seriously ill. Take care of him, take him to the vet.

He must go to a vet right away. I don't get it. You sound like you love him, but you don't do the simplest thing which is your responsibility in order to save his life! He is young, he might have a simple disease that will be cured by the vet!

TAKE HIM TO THE VET NOW! He could have something seriously wrong like a urinary tract infection. Only a person with expertise can help this situation.

Take him to the vet! Now! There isn't much you can do if he isn't eating. The vet's can fix that. Take him now before you lose him. Trust me, I've had a cat die in my arms before. You don't want that on your conscience. Especially if you love him.

First I would say go to the vet.....Have you dewormed him lately or how about trying to feed him wet food. Milk is not good for cats. I would try deworming him and feeding him some wet food.
Worms would cause hin to loose weight and be unhealthy looking.

If you love your cat that much take him to the vet. No one can really say what your cat has. Get him checked out before you lose it.

Instead of being in front of your computer, get in the car and get to a vet. Your cat is dieing, but doesn't have to. It's up to you to save it.
