absolutely. Breast Cancer is a great example. Just watch the commercials. :) Some women have been a survivor 20 years or more.

Yes. My mother inlaw had kidney cancer and had a kidney removed in 1977. She had bone cancer in 1985. No recurrences in the last 21 years. She not only survived, but is doing great, especially for a woman in her 80s.

Yes my dad lived a very long time with cancer. he started out with skin cancer and got rid of that, then he got prostate cancer and lived several more years, squimish cell cancer, and this started when he was 79 and he lived to be 90. You have to have a good attitute and can't give up. If you think you will make it you will make all the differnce in your recovery.

Yes, my mother had breast cancer in 1971. She was operated on in January of that year and lived cancer free for another 25 years.

Yes, my grandmother had colon cancer in 1973, and she is healthy as can be today at age 86.
