I've tried driving down the street with the blast shield down, but I keep running into other cars, people, and telephone poles. I think my city must strain out all the midi-chlorians down at the water plant.

Will you star wars nerds stop turning this whole thing into a religion? i grew up as a kid liking star wars, and when the movies were re-released I enjoyed reliving some childhood memories. But you guys that treat jedi knights as a religion are really out of your mind and need to get a life. you are turning star wars into star trek. I dont seem to recall in the 90s that star wars was very popular at all, i didnt hear about conventions or anything, i thought it was just fading into the past, unlike star trek which began to have a revival a few years after it was cancelled in the 60s. So this whole star wars thing took me by surprise.
I think you need to stop this nonsense. Why dont you spend time studying the koran or the bible or something. i liked star wars too as a kid but you guys who have clubs and festivals and conventions, etc. are just wacko and have really ruined it for me. now instead of being a fond memory of my past now i feel like its been hijacked by you guys.
You stupid suburban white guys waste your time on this stuff, when real threats gather in this world all around us.

the jedi religion in the star wars movies are closely related to taoism. but yeah if I had never seen the movies and someone told me there religion was jedi and they explained it I wouldsay it sounds just as valid as any other religion that is out there.

The underlying themes of the "jedi" religion actually make much more sense logically and scientifically then say, Oh CHRISTIANITY maybe.

It's not crazy. The jedi religion is based upon ancient pagan theologies. It seems much more sound to me than the Abrahamic death cults of christianity, islam and judaism.

But George Lucas isn't on crack, so he can't be as credible a source as L. Ron Hubbard.
