The rest of the world could learn a hard lesson from England and more specifically London. I love living in London where Africans and Jamaicans share a cup of coffee, where Jews and Muslims buy their bread from the same shop, where mixed race marriages don't even get a glance, where Londoners, Australians and South Africans meet up to watch sports together. It's a truly wonderful blend of cultures and I am so proud that my little girl is going to grow up with no racial hatred because these people are part of her life.

My dad recently married an Indian woman (he is half Polish) and how she has a Polish surname - I think that sums up how wonderfully mixed London is.

Without wishing to rude or insulting to anyone - I just do not believe in multi culturism. Where ever I look in the world it is not working. I see racial cleansing all over the place. Look at Rwanda or Sudan, or the Balkans. Look at East Prussia, Poland and Czech Republic after WWII when many millions were or are being displaced. You cannot have a society within a society - it does not work. Lets enjoy other cultures and visitors from other lands; but that is not the same as multi culture. I once overheard a two young women talking to each other The black said to the white - I'm not racist but you can't help but prefer your own. Sounds about right to me!

When you ask these questions are you doing in the hope of getting a racist response? If so, I notice, with great pleasure, that you do not seem to succeed.

Your question also implies that without other races in our culture we would, somehow, be better, or if you like more like you.

But a cursory reading of the literature, both fictional and historical of our society when it was non multicultural would show you what a miserable cruel and vindictive country it was.

Read Dickens, just one or two, and imagine yourself around then, not as one of the rich and wealthy, we all like to imagine that, but as one of the impoverished underclass, which most were.

England, or the United KIngdom as I prefer, is by and large, a kind and generous society despite the best efforts of people like you.

No it's not a multi-racial bucket of anything. There are lovely people in this country. Yes it is multi-racial, but we all have to live together and work together in harmony to make the world a better place in which to live. Be a bit more tolerant of other people - just because they're different doesn't make them bad or wrong. Try checking your spelling before posting a question.

no, of course not. Yes, it is multi-racial, however, obviously this doesn't mean it is a bucket of s..., that is quite clearly a stupid racist and ridiculous point of view.

And btw the BNP are just a bunch of racists and should not be allowed to stand in elections... now i'm just gunna sumbit this before i go on a crazy rant about the BNP and how much i hate them!

Clearly not, as you would know if you knew a little history. Learning to spell might help, too.

I think that your attitude towards our multi-cultural society is one that promotes tension between us, I personally think that we all have the right to live where we want without any kind of abuse.
