Will you stuff your head under a pillow?
Will you cry out like an infant as God smites all mankind?

Well, if I'm still alive at the time, I'll die. That seems obvious. Your God sounds like a pretty mean dude.

I don't believe any of us alive will see that day, and I don't believe that when the "End" comes it's going to be anything like these prophecies people put so much store in. I don't give it another thought, except wonder why a just and peaceful god would smite the "creation" he loves so very much. That one puzzles me.

When the end doesn't come, as it hasn't despite it's repeated prediction for 2000 years, what will you do?

Will you take your head out of your............pillow?

Will you, like the millions of misbelievers before you, simply assert it's delayed?

The nice thing about non-specific prophecies like the parousia is they can never be wrong even though they are never right. And the nice thing about having so many people around who believe such crazy things is that we will never have a shortage of bowling lane polishers.

for one i think i'll be pretty far under the ground by then but you never know it could happen tomorrow. With all the things that could happen: solar flare(by the way the sun is going to get hotter and hotter till it explodes and could wipe out all of the electricity around the world), If you're a Christian i guess you believe that the world won't flood again but me i believe it could, this stupid war, etc. why worry about what's going to happen when the end comes. we are all going to die. enjoy life while you're here and stop trying to guess at what will happen to you when you're not. Life is too short.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Take xtasy, kill a bunch of people, swallow a handful of laxatives and use a funnel to spray projectile diarrhea all over the Pope.

I don't plan on doing either when my end comes. I think I will just go out like a light and that is it.
