LOODS is a new object-oriented terminal applications development environment, which consists of two parts: system modelling methodology (LOODS abstract models) and LOODS visual language system.
(As this pertains to environment, I suggest that word "loods" might be supposed "floods".Error in typing perhaps.

It's most likely a typo for "floods"
