indeed there is a threatment for hep c type. i work with drugaddicts and mainly the virus is spread by blood or unsafe sex, so i dont think you should fear your friend. If your friend has a healt insurance i can recommand him to ask for threatment bc if u have to pay yourself you will be out of money. u will need weekly injection and take pills everyweek pills are about 6000 euro a month, injections i do not know. results of this threatment is less then 50% cure btw. Good luck with your friend, dont let your friendship go just bc of this, he will need you in future!

No cure for it and you will not get it unless you come in contact with his blood or body fluids. If it was that contagious by just being in the same room as some one with it, then the whole world would have it!

No more contagious than aids, and as hepatitis c is a virus there is no cure, my mom has it and as long as you're not kissing your friend, there's really nothing to worry about.

Bodily fluids pass it along. There is no cure, but my friend went into remission by going on a strict Chinese herbal diet. She was close to death before and now shows no symptoms.

It's contagious only via blood-&-body-fluid incursion into your body. Don't let him cook for you and don't use his toothbrush, but otherwise you'll be fine.

And exactly why did you ask this in the religion section?

its not contagious, it is transfered via blood to blood plus few other ways. and you can visit your frind and can even shake hand with him. but be careful about his blood .as this is the major source of spread/
