Hey, My daugher, Sydney, is 12 years old and just got her tonsils taken out, so she is pretty miserable right now. Do you know what could help her out? What would be things she can eat and drink? Thank you! We will appreciate it very much!

Take care,

Madelaine

i got my tonsils taken out when i was 11it was definately the worst week of my life. just make sure that she drinks at lot!!!! I love gaterade so try that. i got dehydrated and had to go to the hospital. so keep her hydrated for eating try jello, soup, and popsicles, those always work =]

anything soft and cold should beat the trick. think of her tonsils being taken out as a cut or bruise wouldnt you want to put ice on it, shes probablly in alot of pain thats why shes so miserable! i would be to lol...but yeah give her some popsicles icecream..anything you can possibley think of that can numb her tonsils that arent ther anymore lol..

hope she gets better!

lots of ginger ale and lots of ice cream. anything soft and cool is best for her throat after tonsil surgery.
