I don't think it's a good idea to use it after the expire date.

The date on the baby food is the expiration date and DO NOT use the food after that date because it could be very harmful to your lil one. Also after opening a jar of baby food do not feed directly from the jar unless you know for sure that the baby is going to eat it all because if you feed from the jar and then put it in the fridge you babys saliva can cause bacteria in the food, you will need to throw any opened unused food thats in the fridge after 24 hours of refridgeration. Hope this helps!

I probably wouldn't serve it after the expiration date. I think baby food lasts for several years before it expires.

I would call the manufacture sometimes the date they put on it is the date it was made and not the experation date. They should have customer service on the jar or via there website.

There should be an expiration date on them somewhere.

If they are expired, I would not use them. yes, they can go bad.

they go bad. not fast mind you. but if its open to the wet in the frig etc. it will. you should not use it if its fairly old.
