If you want a fun book to read that talks about how to relate to Buddhism, grab the Doa of Pooh, and the Dey of Piglet. Those are fun books that uses Winnie the Pooh and other Hundred Arce Wood characters to help you understand Buddhism. It's not written for children either, even though it uses Winnie the Pooh.
