why are they trying to kill each other?

I am a Catholic and I am proud of my church doing everything she can to heal the wounds to unity. We are actively involved in holding conferences with other churches in meaningful dialogue.

Catholics and Lutherans have had a joint declaration on justification, it's been around for a few years now.

Several different churches will coperate together on a variety of relief services in thier world countries, such as the distribution of donated food and medical supplies.

In my city, all denominations are invited to volunteer at a soup kitchen run by the Brothers of the Good Shepherd providing hot nutritious meals to hundreds of the poor, disabled, and street people.

Show me where in the world Christians are killing Christians where politics and other factors is not involved. Your blanket statement without any reference is misleading.

You need to specify. In Ireland this is happening. There is a big war over jobs. The Protestants, has jobs, that they keep from Catholics. They even have certain spelling of their names to tell who is what.

This is more about prejudice and hatred than about religion.

Would you really want to spend eternity with evangelical types? Listening to them on a constant basis...Blah blah blah We were right blah blah. I hope heaven is little more understanding place than what people are preaching.

I am catholic and I love all my brothers and sisters it doesn't matter to me what church they are belong to.
