you probably aren't fat. you probably think you're fat because you aren't confident about yourself. do you want to loose weight because of how you feel or because you want people to see a skinner person when they look at you? if everyone is trying to assure you that you aren't fat, that means none of them see you as a fat person... you see what i'm saying? it IS silly to be unconfident about being "fat" when you are the only one who thinks it.

Sounds like you may have a distorted image of yourself. If you were a little chunky when you were younger and hurtful words are still stuck in your head, you may need help to get them out. You didn't say how tall you were but I know women who are 5 ft tall and still look great in size 8. Don't worry, be happy. Whatever you do, do not resort to bulimia or anorexia. Good luck and learn to love yourself. You are worth it.

You need to see a counsellor. Your thinking is dysfunctional and your body image is distorted, you need someone to help you see straight. Like you say, it doesn't matter what we tell you, you are still going to think you are fat. You need a professional who knows how to deal this kind of problem. See your GP who can refer you for counselling. Good luck : )

You need to be happy with yourself, and not worry about other people. IF you are worried about your weight then do something about it. Make eating right and exercise apart of your life on a regular basis. Working out should make you feel better and regardless of anything it will keep you in shape.

If you think you are fat, then talk to a doctor about it.

You're not listening to your parents or your friends. Why should you be willing to listen to total strangers?
