I have a 6 year old beagle terrier mix...she has a large cut on her side. It first started out as a little bubble looking thing, then it became a big bald spot with dry blood on it! Should I take her to the vet?

YES! I can't believe your asking! Get your baby to the vet!

I think you should take her to the vet. Since it is a large cut you do not know if it has become infected. It became a bald spot and has dry blood on it because she is biting it. It is probably irritating her or itching becuase it is healing. To be on the safe side, take her to the vet.

Sounds like an absess that popped. This may require surgery. YOUR DOG NEEDS TO SEE A VET! You've posted a few questions about other things since posting this one, why aren't you taking this matter seriously? GO TO A VET NOW.

While you're there, make sure your animal is SPAYED. You should definately not be making puppies given your irresponsibility.

What you're describing sounds like an infection waiting to happen. If you had a large cut, don't you think it would require some medial attention? If nothing else, call your vet, and see what they say.

If your dog is bleeding, she needs to see a vet. She *should* have seen one when the "bubble looking thing" was there. Turn off the computer and call the vet ASAP. Good luck and I hope it's nothing. : )

It looks like a ..... cant remember, but a friends dog had one of theses....
you need to take it to the vet before it gets more infected.
Keep a bandage on it, don't keep changing the bandage

Yes go to the vet and don't delay. No reason why your poor pooch should be in pain.

Call your vet take her on now. They will clean it up and get some meds for her infection that she probably was now.
