I took a bite of a Hostess Zinger and as i bit down on it i felt something hard.I took it out of my mouth and I could see a large, flat, gray piece of plastic .I'm almost sure it came off of a machine they use there at the plant.I still have the cake and it is intact, and in a sealed plastic bag.I also kept the box it came in .What I want to know is what would you do? Let it go.Get in contact with the Hostess Co.Get in contact with a lawyer.Let me know,Thanks in advance,Ed

I would contact Hostess first. There should be a "1-800" # on the side of the box. Tell them exactly what happened and see what they say. They may tell you that they are going to send you an SASE envelope to send the piece of plastic you found.

Some companies will compensate you no questions asked. In this case, thankg goodness you didn't swallow it and cause any harm.. Also, it could have been a younger child this happened to.

If you don't like the way they handle your concern, I would contact a legal-aid lawyer (or your own if you have one) and see what he/she says.

Regardless, you should be compensated big time for this.

Good Luck!!!

Zingers are made by Dolly Madison. Go to dollymadison.com and there is a place to contact them and give your info.

If it indeed is Hostess then their contact info is as follows:
Wonder Bread Hostess Cake Bakery

3171 Thomas St, Memphis, TN, United States

Phone: (901) 353-0622

More than likely they will feel so badly that they will give you free stuff.

Contact Hostess....they will more than likely give you free stuff....since you did not have any physical harm done to you from biting into it, forget the lawyer. But do contact Hostess...they will probably send you coupons for free Twinkees, and Zingers, etc.
