Atlanta is clearly running it, but for the good? I'm not sure about that. I think much of the genre is giving other people the wrong perception about blacks. The videos degrade women and they all rap about the same thing, dress the same way, drive the same cars, etc. It's gotten pretty old to me.

ATL's running the show for now, but that doesn't mean they will for good. They have a chance if they go like they are in coming up with new, yet comfortable, sounds. Hip Hop will forever be changing, while keeping its roots. That's one thing that makes it so great. Personally, I think who runs the game will rotate always... east coast, west coast, mid-west, south (ATL). I will say they've given the new sound it needed with the snap dance movement.
