Ladies: Why Do You Get Mad When You Get Attention????

When you dress real sexy, why do you get mad when guys give you a lot of attention?

A long time ago, when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I was a beautiful young woman. I NEVER dressed to be sexy; I wore simple, ordinary clothing, high-necked tops and non-sexy shoes. I never even wore make up.

But, I was shaped very well, and often drew rude catcalls and unwelcome stares. It drove me absolutely batshit with rage.

Because I never invited such obnoxious attention, I was furious at it. If I had dressed to encourage it, I would have expected to be the object of interest...but, I didn't.

This kind of ugly attention has not happened to me for many years (proof that I am old and unattractive), but I'm glad to, at last, be left alone while I go about my routine.

First off we can dress any way we like. That doesn't mean every single man has the right to do what they do. There is attention and then there is being a dog. Men dont seem to know the difference, that's why.

It depends on the kind of attention you are giving. It you are acting like a jerk and got your tongue hanging out your mouth then step off. But if you are acting like a gentleman and making nice conversation then its cool. Besides me personally I dress sexy for me and not to impress nobody.

1) Men assume we are dressing for them; mostly we are dressing just to express ourselves. We express how we feel inside - NOT how you make us feel.

2) Men assume that all "attention" is positive; women know that such attention is often demeaning, dehumanizing, and objectifying, instead of appreciative, positive, and respectful.

3) Men assume women are constantly seeking their approval and attention; confident, self-respecting women welcome approval but do not seek or need it.

We don't like sleazy or raunchy comments, especially made when you are hanging w/your friends. We don't like nasty comments. Always be a gentleman, except behind closed doors.

using fact we could desire to nicely known which you're paying interest. in case you could not pay interest for all time like she needs you to, you're able to desire to easily make her sense which you're paying interest and nicely known her and then do what you're able to desire to do.
