If you dont care you wud not have asked, an for the record it because a some women cannot be close to a guy she used to be with because she wudn't be able to handle the fact the you are with someone else, so there.

Well it definitely has to do with the context to which you guys broke up. If you hurt her or she is experiencing any pain by your both breaking up then she probably wants to distance herself from the pain or whatever other feelings she might have due to your breakup. It's apparent that she wants space to get over it and heal and perhaps if the context of your break up weren't too bad, she'll want to be friends with you in the future. Take care:)

depends on who broke up with who, but a lot of times it's 'cuz it's hard to see the person they cared about. if it was a bad break up....... probably 'cuz they are either pissed off or hurt. if it was not a bad break up then it can be sometimes that they feel like they are still emotionally attached and need that time to deal with it and move on. i think they would want to be friends after a break up, but there needs to be a period where each of you can get over it and get past the reasons you broke up and move onto a friendship.

A lot of times it is to much of a hastle to be friends with an ex even if the break up wasn't ugly.

At some point the fact that you once dated will come up or they are the first one's to hate your new girl, yet they don't want you anymore.

If youdidn't care you wouldn't be asking....

But I'ma answer! By the time the breakups were done, I was just so mad at the guy that talking to them anymore was out of the question. Why would you wanna see that person anymore? You broke up for a reason....!

Are you asking why women won't be friends after you break up with them?

Well, most ladies have a clock ticking and must find a mate before the clock runs out so they don't want to spend precious time with a fellow who is not willing to be a permanent mate.

Apparently you DO care or you wouldn't be asking...

And a lot don't care to be friends because they can't handle it...it's tough for many women to be emotionally platonic with someone they were intimate with, and to think about him dating others and having sex with others...to see him dating, etc.

It doesn't mean she hates him, but just knows that she'd be keeping herself in emotional turmoil if she tried to be "just friends" with someone she could still easily give her heart to.

If the woman you really love dumps you and asks if you will still be her friend will you? How would you feel about that? Maybe you wouldn't want to hang around and watch her drooling all over another guy. Maybe she won't care how you feel about it either.

because they don't want to think about the good times when you were dating and it would hurt them to see you with someone else and chances are if they were a close friend or even a friend in general to you they would see you with your new girl so it would break their heart does this help?

Could be because they care too much to be friends, or because they don't care at all and don't want to even talk anymore.
