Are you talking about the angel? If so he was the one who is the announcer (he announced the birth of Christ among some other)

Gabriel [ forget the saint bit ] is the bright morning star , the arch-angel, the "assistant" of Michael. He commanded the armies of righteousness against the forces of Lucifer. He held the reins of rule while Michael [Jesus] incarnated.
