Okay, before three years ago, (2003) if you were caught having anal sex (with any sex) in the state of Idaho, you could be charged with a felony and face 5 years to life in prision. In Alabama a misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year imprisonment and $2000 fine. In Mississippi a felony punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment. Other states had simaliar punishments, including 1-5 years imprisionment.
Imagine that. Now, do you still believe you should do the time if you do the crime? Did you ever think of yourself as a criminal? Maybe some of you shouldn't judge other people.
For those of you that have no pity or regard for those of us that make mistakes, think about what you do or did that was against the law and you simply just got away with it. Think about the people that use drugs, prostitution, a life choice like anal sex. Should you try to justify any crime that doesn't hurt anyone else?

If they enforced that law, I would have gotten the death penalty. Besides, do you know how many chicks are up for that, but just won't admit it?

That law is a little harsh, however if it's two adults, screw the laws. Some laws are their for a reason ( drugs/ prostitution Ect.)What 2 people do sexually in the privacy of their own home or own property, no one should have the right to say what they can and can not do. If it's not hurting someone else, their should be no punishment.

I think those laws were to protect the innocent from being abused. I dont think it applies to two consenting adults....I mean how would anyone know if both of you consented to it, therefore if it is a crime, which it is not between two consenting adults, you could never be charged for it because no-one would know.
As for people who judge, they will always be around. The world is a mighty big place with all sorts of beliefs. You will never get everyone to agree with you. Mistakes are part of life, it moulds us into who we are today, so without mistakes we would be pretty boring people......and regardless of anyone's beliefs we ALL make mistakes and that is a given. I dont think anyone could argue about that.
Just hold firm to your beliefs, and ignore the ones who want to disagree with you or put you down or anything negative like that. You dont have to justify yourself to anyone else and the people who hurt you deliberately have a real problem. It is them who are feeling inferior to you, not the other way around. They probably wouldnt have a genuine thought in their head and that is why they criticize other peoples points of view....just to be nasty in a lot of cases. You just have to see some of the answers on here to know that some people just get their kicks from being obnoxious.
Just hold strong to your beliefs...and understand that we are all products of our environment, therefore there will always be people who judge. We are all individuals and I dont bother getting into arguements with people anymore. I just state my case, allow them to state theirs and leave it at that. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. What I do object to is having my opinions criticized without any validation. And even if they have a valid comment...they can say it nicely and not attack me as a person. I am entitled to my beliefs, you are entitled to yours...it is our right and if we are not hurting anyone else, then it is really no-one else's business.

The government doesn't have the right (or shouldn't) to legislate what consenting adults do in their bedroom. People's sex lives is not their business.
People that use drugs and get out and harm others because they are not clear headed, are an issue...people who participate in prositution and spread disease or commit crimes because of it (or habits they gain during it) are an issue...
People who like anal sex, are not an issue.

if the sex act involves a child or if the other participant is unwilling then yes. I f 2 adults want to do their own thing then no.
There is still a law on the books in New York to punish adulterers.
Sometimes these are old, antiquated laws and no one has seen fit to amend them.
Best advice..do what you do in private, then you have no worries.

No the ones who made that rule up were people who cant get any. If your talking about doing it outdoors then my answer is still the same, unless the people doing it outdoors are ugly fat people. because nobody wants to see some fat ugly woman outside having sex.

Personally, anything that two consenting adults do with each other is fine with me.
Drugs, however, is another problem.
IF some guy is jacked up on PCP and attacks me, tell me how this crime doesn't hurt me?

You would never be put into jail for having anal sex in the USA...
No court would uphold that law in modern society..

I think that is not correct. Everyone can do anything they want with they're body. Theres no reson for someone to go to prison just for a sexual act. Unless, your been raped or somthing like that.

if one wants to have anal sex...then by all means go for it. it's not any of my business what kind of sex one wants to have. it's a personal choice, and fines shouldn't be put in place...ever. i think that law must have had something to do with homosexuals. which...again...if that's what feels good...then go for it.
