to smoke it regularly no, it was a herb that god put on this earth to be used for medicine. but we humans have abused it!

Well He put pine trees on the Earth too but they're not to eat or smoke. Other than weed being illegal, I dont have a big problem with it. It has medicinal values and is also less threatening than alcohol. Everything God created is clean, nothing in and of itself is sin, it's what we do with it that is. Drinking alcohol isnt a sin but being drunk is. Weed and getting "stoned" would fall into that catagory. But, just because God put it here doesnt mean it's supposed to be smoked. Im sure it has a lot of other uses.

I'm not going to pretend I know anything about God in general, but I'd just like to say that the fact that it's illegal has nothing to with any religion or God; but rather money, greed, power, and corruption. I have heard about Cannabis use in biblical times, however, and I think it's safe to assume that even back then they knew that it was only good. Cannabis genuinely does not cause any harm if you consume it after your brain is finished developing, and if certain elements are extracted from it, it has amazing healing powers (including cancerous tumor size-reduction). Edit: This is targeted at those who think it makes you stupid/moronic: You have met plenty of intelligent people who take part in casually smoking (the same way many people come home and drink a glass of alcohol), and you did not know it. Don't allow the ignorant and immature to cloud your judgement or restrain you from educating yourself about something. :)

If earth was created for humans, as Christianity traditionally says, then yes it seems logical that the human uses of plants are their "intended" use. Hallucinogenic mushrooms too. Why not cocaine as well? or at least the unprocessed coca leaf.

P.S.: how many people that say "treat your body like a temple" eat horribly unhealthy food, live sedentary lifestyles, get little exercise, etc.? Obesity is, on average, a bigger threat to health (and one's temple) than all illegal drugs combined are. Every year in the US perhaps a couple thousand of people die from illegal drugs, but hundreds of thousands or millions die from the consequences of a unhealthy diet and lifestyle. The health risks from being obese are far worse (for the individual) than the health risks from smoking weed occasionally (or even regularly) or from eating shrooms. If you're going to disrespect your body by eating unhealthy food, you're defiling your temple worse than a weed-smoker or shroom-eater is.

Well, I think he put it on earth, because of Adam and Eves great sin. The bible says the world would have been perfect if not for them sinning..
So, God did not intend for it to be on earth..really..
But I think God understands if we smoke a little weed,,,I know he will forgive us, he forgives all our sins. Im sure he doesnt want us to make a daily habit out of it, and HAVE to do it, when we wake up each morning, go to lunch and before bed.
We are supposed to treat our Bodys as a temple.
Like in the Bible they speak of drinking wine, just not overindulging, and i think that goes for anything that could harm our bodies...

I don't think smoking weed is a good thing to do. Smoke causes cancer. I believe that if there is such thing as a god, she would prefer that we boil ganja leaves in a tea to drink, or we make ganja cake to eat.

Please don't take it personal,but i think that question soooooooooooo funny; no but really i don't think it matters to God if you smoke or not. Weed is also used for other things besides smoking, for example:glaucoma.
