In Carrol v. United States, the US Supreme Court stated that search warrants are not required for a vehicle that is in operation. Also, based on what you said in your previous question, the sticker was clearly visible to anyone walking up to your car. This gives them ample cause to search your car and remove anything illegal from it. By the way, the law does not care whether you say you knew it was a forgery or not, the simple fact that you were caught in possecion of a forgery makes you guilty. The best thing you can do is to try and cut yourself a deal, otherwise you are looking at some serious prison time.

Walk up to a cop and hand em your I.D. :) This all depends on the County! Ya can try calling your courts and see if they will tell you anything.Where I live they think yer stupid and tell ya to go to the front desk at the "swine shack" with yer I.D. to find out.
