Fisrt of all there is no such thing as a perfect man. James bond on the other hand is not a perfect man by any means. What he is however is a cassanova. He cant settle with one woman even if he wanted to. His job is his real love and so a woman is more like an assessory to him. He has the abiltiy to get any woman he desires because of his job and more importantly his confidence. Its also a bonus that many women find him attractive as well. If a man doesnt want to marry, he should aspire to be more like james.

As a guy, I like James Bond movies. Bond however is not a romantic. He is a spy with a bottomless bank account, and also a predator of women. I think a man should be suave and clean, and well dressed. but he doesn't have to climb Mount Everest or solve the problems of the world to be attractive to a woman.
Bond has feelings, true, but like most men, he doesn't talk about them at all. I like his sense of confidence which he has to have to do what he does professionally and with women. He loves women, but does not date them--he only sleeps with them. Not much depth there. He plays the hero which is why we like him. Some women will say he is a chauvinistic pig, but others will wait for hours to see his movies. Let us not forget that Bond is the creation of Ian Fleming as interpreted by Hollywood.

certain the James Bond personality is rather manly, plus he can talk many languages, do many sorts of jobs (undercover), he receives to attempt out cool gadgets. He can make a crap spouse/husband, what with all that vacationing and the potential for being blown up or shot, any complete time relationship must be doomed. I want Pierce Brosnan.

No!!! Why are they still making James Bond films anyway? He's an over sexed womaniser! The perfect guy is in the eye of the beholder! We all want different things in a partner. Take a look around you at all the couples you see. It takes all sorts to make a world!

He's more of a one night stand type of guy. Almost none of his "relationships" last. Girl dies, is bad, or disappears.
I'd take some of his qualities, ie his suave persona, his ability to look good in a tux, his determination to save his damsel in distress (although he also might kill her if she's the bad girl.)
Several years ago with the release of "Tommorow Never Dies", there was a hilarious radio commercial that pretended to call Mrs. James Bond and ask her about his exploits.
"Ma'am, did you know your husband's a secret agent?"
"Uh--what? Jimmy? No, he works for Universal Exports."

Well, I wouldn't wear those swimming trunks and I don't own a gun, but everything else is pretty similar to how I live my life.
