Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I'd rather behold an omelet.

It would depend on which nutrients are needed. If someone's been a week without any calcium, and the omelette could have cheese in it, then that would be better--if that's what you mean. A soft-boiled egg does not have any added fat from frying like an omelette would.

I prefer an omelette, because you can put all sorts of stuff in the middle. With a soft boiled, it is pretty much egg all the way through.

i prefer an omelette. as said above, you can put whatever you want into an omelette and the soft boiled egg is just, egg.

An omelette with veggies, meat, sauce or whatever... is tastier than a soft boiled egg.

healtier wise a boiled egg rather than an omelette as the onelette is fried in butter mostly. but a hard boiled egg has no oils no fattening ingredients added to it.

It is of course your choice which is better, but I have an omlet in a bag recipe that is great.

Break 2 eggs into a ziplock bag
Add your choice of ingredients:
ham, bacon, sausage, green pepper, onion, cheese, salt, pepper, garlic, salsa, or just what ever is your choice.

Bring water to a rolling boil in a pan, drop bag into water and boil for 10-12 minutes.
Open bag, and pour out onto plate and enjoy.

An omlette is probably "safer."

Soft-boiled eggs are good if you like runny yokes.

If there is bread on hand, I'd go with the soft-boiled egg.
In the absence of bread, I'd go with the omlette.

For kids who like cheese, a cheese-y omlette would probably be the winner!

An omelet with ham, sausage, green chili's, onions and cheese. Although a soft boiled egg would be better for the cholesterol....I would prefer the omelet.
