The most fattening foods are foods which are deep fried, like Frenchfries and such.
Basically all the fast food products are about as fattening as fattening gets.

Chinese food is EXTREMELY fattening. Sugar can also be very fattening, as well as cream (alfredo sauce can be suuuper bad for you). But you can eat almost anything in moderation and still be healthy. Don't worry about the fat content as much as you worry about the portion sizes. There are also fats that are better than others - a handful of nuts might have as much fat as some french fries, for example, but you're better off with the nuts.

Well, things with a lot of fat in them.
Usually desserts... OR ALCOHOL INTAKE.
Fat is 9 calories per gram
Alcohol is 7 calories per gram
Protein is 4 calories per gram
Carbohydrate is 4 calories per gram
So, anything with a lot of fat in it is going to "fattening." Excessive alcohol intake can EASILY be converted into fat. Excess carbs are shunted into the fat synthesis pathway too. Protein, not so much, but it happens a lot.
So, don't have cheesecake with beer at every meal and you'll be OK.
Regards,
Ryan

It depends on your outlook.
Generally it might be carbs like potatoes, soda, rice, desserts, pasta and bread because they trigger a spike in blood sugar and an insulin release. Insulin is the fat storing hormone.
Low carb diets like Kimkins provide quick weight loss because they restrict insulin release. Low carb diets like South Beach provide slower loss than Kimkins because it's higher carb.
This is especially fattening in conjuction with foods heavy in fat, like a Big Mac.

Anything in excess is high, even such things as salad dressing is OK in a tablespoon and awful in a cupful.
But the two worst things I've seen in normal servings is pecan pie and spaghetti Alfredo. The pie is about 535 calories and the spaghetti varies by recipe, but its also known as 'heart attack on a plate"

I know one is pizza. Hot Dogs, fried foods like potato chips, fried chicken, greasy fries, chilly- cheese anything. They say beef, but it all depends on how you cook it. mac&cheese, chips and dip, anything in heavy gravy. Pasta in creamy sauces or in heavy sauces.appetizers like fried mushrooms, fried cheese, eggrolls, really anything that has flavor or really gooood!!!!
