UGA. IU sucks at life. Actually, I'm just from Purdue so yeah haha~ But to be honest, I don't think it matters where, both are prestegious enough.

If you are bright, a hardworker, and make good grades, you are going to be able to get a decent first job out of college regardless of which school you pick.
You'll find that your degree is ONLY going to matter for the first job, maybe two that you get. After you have about 2 years of job history in your chosen field, employers could care less where you went to college and how you did, and they only look at your job history.
That said, you will find that it will be MUCH easier to get your first job in Georgia if you have a degree from UGA, simply for the networking aspect.
Let's say you walk into an interview in downtown ATL. Being that this is an entry-level job, the guy/gal is going to grill you on your acedemic acomplishments, etc., just because that is all they have to go on for your training and qualifications for their position.
BUT, let's say the guy has a UGA plaque on his wall. You can bet he is going to notice that you went to UGA and give you the benefit of the doubt over someone who didn't, just because alums naturally take care of their own. So, he may stop asking you about your qualifications and start talking about UGA football for the next 30 minutes, and he is going to remember your interview more than the others. So, when it comes down to you and someone who went to IU that is equally qualified, he is going to give the job to you.
Never underestimate networking when it comes to finding jobs, and being a UGA alum in the state of GA makes you part of a large network that you can tap throughout your life!!
