with my 2 year old a new word goes a long way. "gross" is fun to say whether he means it or not.
try offering food by using different colors - do you want orange food or green food? (carrots or peas, whatever)
dipping sauces are great. buy a lite ranch dressing and they may like broccoli again. dip apples or celery sticks in peanut butter.
use whole grain pastas and breads. finely chop/shred vegetables like spinach and carrots into casseroles and cakes.
offering choices is a great idea because then they have control. obviously, don't ask if they want the bright blue berry jell-o. make sure all offers are ones you approve of.
throw out any food they can't have. yup, that means you don't get to have it either. what isn't available isn't an option, so they eat the good stuff or not at all. and they won't starve themselves.
i would also try giving one childe the food at a time. convince one toddler it's yummy, scrumptious, delectable (more fun words) and the other might follow.

You just keep trying, wait a few days before reintroducing the new food. Be patient. In the meantime keep all the bad food out of sight or out of the house if you can.

Make it known that the food available is what they have to eat. Being picky should not be tolerated. They'll eat when they get hungry enough.
