Sure looks like it. But, hey, what do I know? I'm no Dr.

Ok if it is growing from the outside of the spine near the kindneys it's not a spinal cord tumor. It's a spinal tumor. (difference as of what effects it can have on the persons nervous system) If it is growing on the spinal column it's self their is a really good prognosis. They should easily be able to remove almost all of it, if not all of it and then as a precautionary the patient would be put on chemotherapy and monitered by a doctor quite regularly. Their aren't going to be and home remedies for something of this nature. Really a tumor is cancer and it needs to be removed I'm suprised that they haven't already discussed this with you and scheduled the proceedure. It will be a long journey and not an easy one either but there is an extremely good chance that the patient will make it through it ok and in one piece. Good Luck
