i was active duty in the military and i got out when i was pregnant with my second and last baby. i am now reserve and very, very out of shape. i want to start working out again today. when i was active duty i did a lot of running, but it made my legs look manly. i am short and stubby, so if i don't work my problem areas properly i build a lot muscle mass and start looking manly. does anyone know any exercise reps that i can do that won't do this to me? my problem areas are all over, but mainly it's my stomach. please keep in mind that i haven't worked out in about 2 years so i need to start with a light workout and then work my way up.
also, does a sauna help burn fat at all?

Go to www.womensfitness.com and www.womenshealth.com. Try bike riding. My wife did that when she had her second and put the child in a seat in back. The little guy liked the ride and she got her exercise. You are probalby well toned due to the PT done in the Service (by the way, Thanks for wearing the uniform) yet have layer of body fat and you may feel flabby. Try aerobics, if you can't do them in front of a TV at home there are zillions of places where you can go. Curves, is a good place to go. Look in you local phone book.

By doing aerobics you will increase your metabolism, work all areas of the body, sweat like a beast, and feel great. AND even though you may not have any more babies; you may like the way you look and feel......you may want to keep in practice. Go Hubby.

Good Luck and Thanks again...
