You're obviously considering doing it at some point, so I just wanted to answer your question by saying that there is no particular age standard at which you should lose your virginity. You should do that when you're ready, and only when you're ready. Don't let anyone influence you to do it before you are ready, because you don't want to regret your decision. I lost my virginity when I was 16, and even though I'm 25 now, I wish I had waited. Whenever you decide to do so, please make sure that you and your partner are protected against pregnancy and STDs.

I am an older woman just trying to let you know to hold on to it as long as you can and feel in your heart you should. Believe me I wish that I had've. I don't care if you are one-hundred seventy-four, if you know that you are not financially, mentally, physically, emotionally or just wantingly ready, "Don't Do It!". If you feel that your mate is not ready, "Don't Do It!". If you know your mom and or dad will kinda kill you, "Don't Do It!". If you are not old enough to understand the consequences of your actions, "Don't Do It!". Just because you sound like your curiosity is growing, "Don't Do It!" Unless you have been honest with yourself and the persons watching over you, I think you should just wait. But the choice will be all yours in the end so good luck and I pray that you will make good decisions.

You should be at least 16. And I recommed that you do not sleep with anyone that you would not marry.
Remember that the "stay a virgin til you are married" thing started when people got married at age 14. Now if you wait until you are 26 to get married you have wasted your best years.

You are old enough only when you can accept the challenges, mentally...physically...and financially to be able to raise a child! Generally that includes responsibility including a real relationship with a partner of the opposite sex who is in the same position to uphold raising a child with you. In general...when you are married! This is one strong reason WHY God says to save yourself. It avoids a lot of potential problems from promescuity...diseases...unwanted children...neglected children...general abuse and a long long list of other problems. Abstain! If you can. Sex is wonderful, but it's not and never will be good enough to justify screwing up your entire life! Later in life... even when you can have as much of it as you want and even with how awesome it is...you will find yourself with a headache to avoid it occassionally.

When you know and understand sex. Make sure your ready and know how to protect yourself and make sure its someone you won't regret or be ashamed of later in life. Take your time. Get your work done first. Love is a good thing but you don't want it to consume your every thought. Please just be at least 17 years old. I was one of the only girls at my high school who waited until I was 18 years old, but I started to let it consume all my time. Needless to say, I'm 23 and my daughter is 5 years old now. BE SAFE.

Well you should be over 18 and... you should be married because your with the person you love and plus the sex will feel better and you don't have to worry about the guy ditching you the next morning!
