Has anyone taken their children to the Doodlebops Concert? If so, how was it? I'm considering taking my 2 1/2 year old son.

I took my 6yo and 2yo twins. It was GREAT!!!! They LOVED it! We had floor seats, 6 rows from the stage and there was a large area to our left where children danced, within easy view of us and stage. (Amherst, MA)

My niece also took them to the Hartford concert (because she was unavailable for the first concert and JEALOUS we got to go!!!) Their seats were farther away, but they liked it just the same.

The two 2yo's got a bit ansy toward the end and wanted to sit on the ground and move around, but if there are 2 adults you can sort of "box the child in" one on either side of child to allow for movement but not escape. You might think about bringing a towel, mat, trashbag to put on the floor if the child wants to sit with a toy toward end (I was totally GROSSED OUT that the girls were sitting on the floor without SOMETHING under them...)
Also some little light up toy or something to use for distraction in the event the child loses interest.
The items they sell were mostly for older kids, I thought.
We still use sippy cups as well, and brought those and small snacks (animal crackers, etc.)
Good Luck! I must admit, I had a good time as well!
PS- They say no flash photos, but the stage was so lit up I still got some good images w/o using flash.
