I knew of one woman who had seizures. She was able to control her seizures by smoking a cigarette. Apparently her doctor had been working closely with her and was well aware of this and advised it to her. She only smoked once in a while. Not everyday. I guess it worked for her... Which I find interesting.

Smoker's have a lower incident of Alzheimer's disease. But I think it would be better to be crazy than not able to breath. People who can't breath well are very anxious in the end stages of copd.

There are NO positive effects of cigarettes. They are addictive and contain ingredients like cyanide, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and lead. Why would any of that be positive? Cyanide is rat poison..............do you really think rat poison is positive?

none. any so called positives (such as appetite suppression which also is negative if you ask me) are definitely counteracted by the negatives. they can cause asthma bronchitis emphysema and of course lung, throat, mouth, and esophageal cancers. they also turn teeth and nails yellow. make your breath and your clothes and house stink. to date i haven't found anything positive about cigarettes. when you buy them it's almost like you are paying someone else to kill you slowly

you will not pollute the gene pool because you will be sterile from smoking.

you will not die of alzheimer because you will die from cancer at an earlier age.

you will not need life insurance, thus lowering the cost of non-smokers premiums.

you will kill other smokers around you faster with your second hand smoke, thus reducing our smokers population.
