God give TRUE eternal life. One of joy and peace. Why would I want to accept a pseudo one?

If science gave eternal life it wouldn't be science. Who wants to live forever anyways. Religion and dogma should be discarded just because of all the horror they produce. Spirituality on the other hand, if kept personal and healthy, can stay.

I don't have a religion. So I'll be ready for the science thing. I'll say this though... If science did grant immortality, I think that there would be far less warfare. This is because life would be seen as much more valuable and precious due to the new found longevity.

Science is a mindless force that would never willingly sacrifice its own life so I could live and it is incapable of love. So no. Christianity is not ultimately about livign forever, it is living forever with Jesus Christ. Heaven will be great because Jesus is there not merely because it is heaven.

The purpose of me following Jesus is not that I have a "Get into Heaven free card" it's that I have a personal savior who cares, listens, and helps me daily. Science can't do that.
