It is a very basic medical exam, hearing, eyesight etc... as long as you don't have any major medical issues you should have no problem getting a third class medical. If you are questioning whether or not you will be able to pass try visiting http://www.faa.gov/ they have quite a bit of information regarding medicals on their website

Different countries have different requirements but for a PPL if your general heath is good (no heart problems, diabetes, mental illness etc) you can see with glasses/contacts, your hearing is good then you should pass the medical for the PPL in what ever country you choose

Refer to FAR pat 67(Medical Standards and Certification). It will list everything you need to do for a medical. If this is your first medical it will also be your student pilot certificate.
I hold a second class and have never done a third class. I know they checked my eye site, breathing, urinalysis, made me do that funky duck walk, and get my height and weight. Good Luck!

A very basic physical, mostly vision stuff. If you're at least corrected to 20/20, you're good to go.

There are a few tests: urinalysis, vision, hearing, and general health.
