GOD"Allows" a lot of evil to occure, it is the Devil's work.
I believe it is part of our challenges as sinfull humans.
Ever since the fall of man God has allowed bad things as a result of sin.

It's happened since the beginning. Since the church was founded there was warning of those who said that all people should be circumcised, that people are saved through good works, and many other lies that Jesus never said. God isn't happy with these people-and they'll get it in the end. The same way Jesus wasn't happy with the Pharisees and Sadducee's who perverted the Word of God as well.

When you say "His Word" I assume you mean books like the Bible, Quran, etc.
He wouldn't allow his word to be perverted. These books are inventions of and written by man and therefore are changed/altered/interpreted at will.
The only word of God we have is what he reveals to us in nature and the universe.
Written words would be a very bad way for him to communicate, since they can be so easily changed/altered and manipulated through the ages.
Use logic and reason, it's one of God's best gifts.

God is not the only power here on Earth, there is also Evil influences. Any religion can be perverted and twisted to suit the needs of the pervert-er.

That's like asking why God allows disobedience? One Word for an answer: freewill

Why God allows everything. He do not stop anybody from doing their things. When the time ran out it may be time to pay, but also reconciliation. Amazing live of controversy and repent on the last minute, that's cool.

Why do people continue to blame God for mankind's stupidity? God gave us free will. Unfortunately, many use it poorly. Numbers 6:24

God has no control over free will. People are given the choice to do what ever they want without higher intervention. Maybe God can persuade you to do some thing but he has no control over your free will.

You need extremists to help you realize how sane you really are.
Without extremists, we would all be clueless at defining who we are in life.

Maybe, it is allowed so that a truly repentant, desiring seeker would apply themselves to study and knowing the correct meaning/translation/interpretations of the accounts of His people and Jesus and His people
