He's an excuse people created in order to justify their own bad behavior. Magik is neither black nor white - it is what it is depending on where you take it. The only diffrerence between good and evil is in the intent of the heart. Do what ye will, and harm none.
Blessed Be.

Satan was Lucifer, an angel, who because of pride wanted to be worshiped. God cast him down with 1/3 of the angels (that is what I believe to be true). Satan is the accuser of the brethren, Rev 12: 9&10; the prince of this world, John 16:11; a liar John 8:44; a spiritual force of evil, Ephesians 6:11&12. What do I think of him? Well when he reminds me of where I've been, I remind him of where he is going, he has been defeated.

Satan is a very real character who oringinally existed in the heavenly realm as an angel. He decided for himself to gain the glory that was originally God's. But it is used with the definite article ha to refer to Satan the Devil, the chief Adversary of God. (Job 1:6, ftn; 2:1-7; Zec 3:1, 2) Then Satan was cast down to the earth at:
Revelation 12:7-9
And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
Notice what Jesus said to him:
Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him.” (Joh 8:44; 1Jo 3:8)
Beginning with his first overt act in turning Adam and Eve away from God, he was a manslayer, for he thereby brought about the death of Adam and Eve, which, in turn, brought sin and death to their offspring. (Ro 5:12) When Satan approached Eve (through the speech of the serpent), he actually challenged the rightfulness and righteousness of Jehovah’s sovereignty. He intimated that God was unrightfully withholding something from the woman; he also declared that God was a liar in saying that she would die if she ate the forbidden fruit. Additionally, Satan made her believe she would be free and independent of God, becoming like God. By his action he brought man and woman under his leadership and control, standing up as a rival god in opposition to Jehovah.—Ge 3:1-7. As a governing force in the invisible realm immediately about the earth, Satan is “the ruler of the authority of the air.” (Eph 2:2) In Revelation he is shown to be the one “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” (Re 12:9)
So since Satan is influencing the entire inhabited earth today we would do well to think about these things and know exactly who he is and how he has control over us. Eventually in Gods due time wickedness will be done away with and we do not want to be in that crowd. Each of us must find out what is pleasing to our heavenly father and pursue that course.

Salutations Kytra!
I myself would truly like to know the answer to that question as well as if God truly exists in the first place. The one thing I do know for a fact in life is that if God and satan does truly exist when we die we will definitely know and have no other choice but to accept the answer.
Thank you for your question and have a beautiful and blessed day!
Luv2luvu XOXO!

I agree. Satan is a figment of peoples imagination.
When something bad happens, they want someone/something to blame. They can't blame God, because he is supposed to be good/love. So they they blame Satan instead of looking at the real cause (nature, bad human choices, etc.)

Well the Bible speaks fully of him in both Testaments. "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he doesn't exist." I think that if you believe in God- you have to believe in EVERYTHING that he says.

Satan is symbolic of the delusional state of humanity brought on by the attachment to form and the resistance to change.
God is peace. You cannot know peace if you spend your life in resistance to what is.
