There is a site called drivers.com which has the largest and best-organized driver collection. It is a one-stop free source of downloads. They have all devices, all operating systems, and all models of each manufacturer.

The easiest way to do this is to go to the manufacturer of the camera's website (i.e., Hewlett Packard, Sony, etc). There should be a section on the website dedicated for "software and drivers" Type in your product number or camera type. Download the driver and you should be good from there.

IF you are using XP it should have generic drivers.

BUT

I would suggest using the drivers for your camera, available from the manufacturer's website. Specific drivers are ALWAYS better than generic drivers for hardware!!

They should come with WindowsXP (assuming that's what you have). If it's a generic device, then the OS should recognize the USB connection the same way it recognizes a memory stick.
